Work Experience

  • 2004–present: he has worked as a teacher (lecturer) and executive editor of the magazine "Urban People" at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, Prague.

  • 2005–2008: he co-authored with Drak Theatre in Hradec Králové (e.g. "Alenka zamilovaná", "Carmen 20:07", "Sedmá vlna").

  • 1996–present: he has been a permanent contributor to Czech Radio 3 – Vltava where he prepares the "Osudy" programme.

  • His contribution to poetry for children and teens is significant, as he focused on readers of the so-called apoetic age. This direction of poetry towards the pubescent reader was quite revolutionary in the 1980s. The collection of poems "Tulikráska" (1987) is probably his most popular.

  • He worked as a journalist for more than thirty years.
