Work Experience

2004–present: he has worked as a teacher (lecturer) and executive editor of the magazine "Urban People" at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, Prague.

2005–2008: he co-authored with Drak Theatre in Hradec Králové (e.g. "Alenka zamilovaná", "Carmen 20:07", "Sedmá vlna").

1996–present: he has been a permanent contributor to Czech Radio 3 – Vltava where he prepares the "Osudy" programme.

His contribution to poetry for children and teens is significant, as he focused on readers of the so-called apoetic age. This direction of poetry towards the pubescent reader was quite revolutionary in the 1980s. The collection of poems "Tulikráska" (1987) is probably his most popular.

He worked as a journalist for more than thirty years.
