Looking back at the celebrations of 20 years of Gender Studies ****************************************************************************************** * ****************************************************************************************** In the fall of 2025, the Master’s Program in Gender Studies [ URL "https://gender.fhs.cuni KGSENG-2.html"]  celebrated its 20th anniversary. It is currently the only Master's progra in Central Europe. The first students enrolled in the full-time and part-time programs in 2005, and 12 years later, an English-language version of the program was added. Over the p nearly 400 students have earned Master's degrees in the program and now pursue a diverse r including academic ones. The GS20 celebrations began with a discussion among current faculty [ URL "https://gender. KGSENG-6.html"]  who were either involved in the creation and accreditation of the program associated with it as former students. The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Charles Un Věra Sokolová, recalled, among other things, the decisive role of one of the program's fou Dr. Hana Havelková, in its institutionalization.
