Courses ****************************************************************************************** * ****************************************************************************************** The Faculty of Humanities offers a wide range of courses in the field of broad Humanities Sciences to exchange students. All the courses are part of FHS degree study programmes tha put a strong emphasis on interdisciplinarity. Echange students study together with local students. Good to Know when selecting coursesExchange students are expected to follow the most of th their particular host CU faculty (51% / 49% rule). • COURSE LEVEL Incoming students may choose both BA ("YB" courses codes) and MA ("YM" course codes) cou different study programmes and departments at the Faculty of Humanities, unless there ar restrictions and requirements for the respective courses. • COURSES OUTSIDE the FHS, your host faculty Students may select courses provided by other CU faculties, but not more than 49 % in to you would like to take three courses at the Faculty of Social Sciences, you have to take courses provided by the Faculty of Humanities regardless of the overall number of ECTS c • NOMINATIONS via the Erasmus Agreement with our German and French Philosophy Study progra Students are expected to select some of their courses from the course offerings of this ("YMFPR" course codes, language of instruction: German). • EXCHANGE STUDENTS (NON-FHS) INTERESTED IN FHS COURSES Details on course availability and enrolment are available at the Information for CU Exc OUTSIDE the FHS [ URL "https://fhs.cuni.cz/FHSENG-1233.html"] section. Learning Agreement GuidelinesWhen selecting courses and completing your Learning Agreement consider the course offer available at the time of applying and note that it is subject to be possible to change your courses at a later stage. • NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR (semester) COURSE OFFERINGS These will be based on the current academic year’s course offerings. While some courses be offered, new courses will be introduced to ensure a sufficient selection in the broad Humanities and Social Sciences. • LEARNING AGREEMENT: FHS and NON-FHS COURSES You may include non-FHS courses in your Learning Agreement in addition to FHS courses. H note that enrolment in these courses cannot be guaranteed in advance, either by our offi course instructors. Depending on the requirements of the university, this may be lower.
