Veronika Čapská Leading Memory and Identity Group of COST

Veronika Čapská of FHS was elected to lead second Working Group, Memory and identity, of the “Women of the Move” network. Lucie Storchová and Petra Ezzeddine of FHS are involved in this group as experts.

Women on the Move is an international network funded by COST.

A network of researchers from 49 countries, we are engaged in the timely mission of unveiling women migrants' presence and participation in the construction of Europe. Our transdisciplinary outlook combines a wide variety of expertise in history, sociology, demography, economy, anthropology, political science and the arts, among many other fields. This will foster complementary perspectives to show women migrants' presence, obstacles and capacities in past and present migratory contexts.
