A new collective publication edited and co-authored by the Faculty of Humanities' Dean Věra Sokolová presented at a conference in Granada

This year's Coimbra Group Annual Conference served as an occasion for the launch of the new collective publication Why EDI Matters: Equ(al)ity, Diversity and Inclusion in European Universities. We are proud that the Dean of Faculty of Humanities, Věra Sokolová, is the co-editor and one of the autors of this powerful volume.

Charles University Rector, Jiří Zima, who took part in the conference as well, highlighted the importance of the book for the current debates about conditions of university education and research.

The publication and conference confirm the signifiance of international cooperation and open dialogue about the values which shape present-day universities.
