Summer Term Exam Period

The Exam Period in the Summer Term at the Faculty of Humanities starts on May 24th and ends on September 17th.

Between August 1st and August 31st there are summer holidays. Exam period is interrupted on this date.

Join us in our celebration of two decades of various inspiring connections on both the academic and applied levels, as well as of the 60th birthday of the ethnomusicology program founder and leader doc. FHS CU at Book World Prague 2021

On September 23 - 26, 2021 the international book fair and literary festival "Book World Prague 2021" is held at the Prague Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice.

FHS`s book production will be presented and you will find it in the right part of the Industrial Palace at the Carolinum stand.

St. Wenceslas Day

Wenceslas was the duke of Bohemia from 921 until his assassination in 935. He was murdered on September 28 by his younger brother Boleslaus the Cruel. Immediately after his death Wenceslas was considered a martyr and a saint.

All classes for this day have been cancelled.

World Architecture Day at FHS

The Faculty of Humanities and the Kruh Association invite you to the "World Architecture Day" festival. The Faculty building opens to the public on Sunday, October 3, 3 PM – 6 PM.

The new faculty building opened in 2020 was created by rebuilding the canteen according to a design by Kuba & Pilař architects.
