Head of Management and Supervision in Social and Health Care organizations department and senior lecturer, who has been teaching at Faculty of Humanities of Charles University since 2002. His specialization includes systemic, strategic and project management, as well as communication and management of change. For several years he has been responsible for students’ managerial practices.
As a consultant and an advisor he cooperates with many Czech NGOs, most of them are registered as official social care providers.
In 2015 and 2016 he was responsible for developing strategies of Czech Alzheimer Society regional focal points.
In 2014 and 2015 he had been working as an external appraisal agent for Public Beneficial Organizations’ Association and as such being responsible for nomination of various Czech NGOs for the Reliable NGO certificate.
In 2014 he prepared a baseline study for the Council of Government of Czech Republic for NGOs that help with formulation of the State NGOs’ policy for the years 2015 – 2020.
In 2013 he designed methodology for selection of best managed Czech NGOs and since then he has been involved in annual selection process.
Since October 2013 he participated in implementation of an Erasmus LLP financed international project, whose aim had been to develop and to pilot three joint modules strengthening competences of health and social care managers.
In 2012 he had been evaluating transformation of Czech residential services for the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
In 2009 he worked in a research team who benchmarked selected world-wide universities from top 200 and based on the findings formulated improvements in management of Czech universities.
Since 2006 he has worked as an EEA FM appraisal agent operating in countries such as Lithuania, Czech and Slovak Republic.
From 2005 to 2007 he had been a member of one ESF operational program’s ex-ante evaluation team.
Between 2002 and 2005 he coordinated an ESF funded project targeting integration of inclusive education in Czech educational system.
Between 1999 and 2001 he had been a member of the team formulating the very first Czech White Paper on Education. His main task was to coordinate on-going evaluation of this Paper development process.
