Markéta Zandlová, Ph.D. ****************************************************************************************** * ****************************************************************************************** ****************************************************************************************** * Research Areas ****************************************************************************************** Markéta Zandlová, Ph.D., is a social anthropologist. She has long been devoted to the anth of borders and the process of social identity construction, especially ethnic identities ( Zandlová, M. 2015. The Aromo in Bulgaria. Prague: FHS UK). In recent years, in addition to issues of ethnographic research, she has focused on the social aspects of climate change, explored through discourses and practices associated with increasing drought in the Czech studies, she combines contemporary concepts of environmental anthropology with the analysi distribution and infrastructural networks. She is currently the principal researcher of the interdisciplinary applied project Stories Local Contexts of Extreme Climate Phenomena, Their Perception and the Willingness of Actor (www.pribehysucha.cz [ URL "http://www.pribehysucha.cuni.cz"] ).
