Admission to Study

The applicant becomes a student by the date of enrollment.

Students are enrolled after the end of summer school which takes place in the Faculty building, FHS, CU, Pátkova 2137/5, 182 00 Praha 8 - Libeň. The date of enrollment is mentioned in the invitation.

Documents needed for enrollment:

  • Personal ID (ID card, driver's licence, passport, firearms licence).

  • Enrollment form, which you can find in Student Information System (SIS)

  • Certified copy of diploma and diploma supplement or a document proving that you have successfully finished state examinations. These are needed even in the case you have already studied at our faculty. If you don't have your diploma yet, bring a document issued by the study department that proves you have successfully finished your graduate studies.

  • IMPORTANT: photocopies of documents that are not certified are not acceptable. You must have your copies certified!

  • In case you graduated abroad, you need a recognition of foreign diploma or nostrification. In case you need your foreign diploma recognized, please read all the info here. If you have any questions, contact Martin Macháček

  • If you can't be enrolled in person, you can be enrolled by proxy. Letter of Authorization does not need to be notarized. The authorized person must bring all documents mentioned above, and their personal ID.

  • After you bring all the required documents, you or your proxy will get the enrollment decision. Enrolment decisions can be also delivered to you electronically, by Student Information System. If you don't deliver the above-mentioned documents by the date of enrollment, you won't be enrolled. You must successfully finish your graduate studies in order to be admitted.
