November 1989 – A Lasting Challenge

The Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague, the Všehrd Association of Czech Lawyers,  Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, and the Charles University in Prague have the pleasure of inviting you to a festive event ‘November 1989 – A Lasting Challenge’. The event is organised by the Všehrd Association of Czech Lawyers, Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, and the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution. Central part of the programme is an address by Bohuslav Sobotka, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic. It is to be followed by a discussion with students, politicians, civil activists, and important personages of events of November 1989.

The discussion will take place in the Czech language, on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at 2pm, at the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague, Curieových Sq. 7, Prague 1, Room No. 100 (Collegium Maximum).
