Study at the Faculty of Humanities (FHS), Charles University in Prague (CU)

Thank you for considering the Faculty of Humanities (FHS) for your study abroad experience.


As the youngest faculty of Charles University in Prague, FHS offers a wide range of innovative study programmes in human sciences while putting a strong emphasis on multi-disciplinary research and perspectives in education. In cooperation with international partner institutions, it interconnects education, research and engagement in the public domain. We have developed partnership with a wide range of universities within Erasmus+ programme and CEEPUS network scheme. The Faculty of Humanities also participates in the scheme of inter-university agreements of Charles University and inter-govermental agreements of the Czech Republic.

Promoting international and multicultural environment in our classes, both Czech and international students study together.


Prospective international students have three options of studies at FHS:


1. as degree seeking students:

2. as exchange students from one of our partner universities
