International students have three options of studies at FHS:

1.) as degree seeking students:

2.) as exchange students from one of our partner universities:

3.) as students from a non-partner university wishing to spend one or two semesters at FHS (i. e. free-movers):

ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR EXCHANGE AND OTHER NON-DEGREE STUDENTS

Teaching period of Winter semester starts usually at the end of September and ends

at the beginning of January (Christmas Holiday 23/12 - 02/01);

subsequent exam period ends in the beginning of February.

Teaching period od Summer semester starts usually in the middle of February and ends

in the middle of May, subsequent exam period ends in the end of June.

STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (SIS):

Externí odkaz SIS allows students to access important information concerning their studies (list of offered courses, their anotations, syllabi, schedule, study materials etc.) Students register to courses online and check their study results there.

ECTS - EUROPEAN CREDIT TRANSFER AND ACCUMULATION SYSTEM:

In compliance with the Bologna Process, FHS applies the ECTS. Students are therefore expected to obtain 60 ECTS credits per academic year (1 ECTS = 25-30 hours of work). The ECTS value of each course (lesson, seminar, independent studies...) is listed in the SIS.
