Course registration at the Faculty of Humanities will be organized in two phases. Because of this change, the date of course registrations has been amended in the schedule of the 2023/2024 academic year.
The following rules will apply on the first day of course registrations:
BA students will be able to register for BA courses only
MA students will be able to register for MA courses only
Students will be allowed to register max. 4 courses and choose a section of the course, if applicable. This limit does not apply to compulsory courses which are registered for the students by the Faculty staff.
Participants of life-long programs at the Faculty of Humanities will also be able to register for courses in this phase.
All students (BA, MA, PhD) will be able to register for any Faculty course according to the existing rules.
Students will be able to register for further 6 courses. The overall limit for course registrations in the SIS is 10 courses. This limit does not include compulsory courses.
Course instructors are allowed to make exceptions and register students for their course if they agree to do so.
Course registration for CU students outside the Faculty of Humanities will be open from September 25, 2023, 12PM until October 15, 2023, 11:59PM.
Course registrations are organized online via the Student Information System. You can find the course registration dates and deadlines in the schedule of the academic year - registrations are organized in September and October (winter semester) and February (summer semester).

There are three categories of courses - compulsory courses, elective courses, and optional courses. You can register for elective and optional courses via the SIS. Compulsory courses are registered for you by your study program administrator at the beginning of the academic year.
