Rektorský sportovní den

We would like to invite you cordially to the Rector’s Sports Day. The Day has become the traditional top sporting event at our university. It will take place on Wednesday, 13th May 2015, under the auspices of Rector of the Charles University Professor MUDr. Tomáš Zima.

It has become a rule that there are no lessons on this day, and students should feel free to choose any sporting event. Hopefully, this event will not only attract students who do sports on regular basis but also those who have been staying away from them so far. They can also just try something new or nontraditional. Students will be offered 30 different sports. In addition to competitions in basketball, volleyball, softball, floorball, tennis and swimming, we would like to draw your attention to a newly opened competition in beach volleyball, sea kayaking and also sample lessons in martial arts Wing Chun and Krav Maga. Most of these events will take place in the Sport centre in Hostivař.
