Week of Science and Technology

The Week of Science and Technology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech republic is the most extensive science festival in the Czech Republic, taking place each year, in 2015 from 1st to 15th November. The programme offers events all over the Czech republic, including lectures, excursions, science cafés, screenings of documentary films, visits of scientific workplaces, laboratories or libraries. Non-Czech speaking students may enjoy especially Open Days of more than 75 institutes of the Academy or 19 powerplants, or a number of exhibitions.
