At FHS, there are an increasing number of activities aimed at sustainability. They are concerned about both the FHS building and its surroundings. It is no longer just the bee students club Pučmeloud that has acquired beehives and subsequently built a community garden, this green haven between the road and the university building complex.
Teachers, students, and librarians prepare and carry out other activities. One is beautifying the grounds along the western edge of the FHS building. Last and this week, planting and haying was done. So, fingers crossed, the lavender, currants, and seeds, when they sprout, take root, and grow, will transform the green belt outside the office and library windows into a blooming and fragrant meadow.
