Thank you for considering the Faculty of Humanities (FHS) for your study abroad experience.
As the youngest faculty of Charles University in Prague, FHS offers a wide range of innovative study programmes in human sciences while putting a strong emphasis on multi-disciplinary research and perspectives in education. In cooperation with international partner institutions, it interconnects education, research and engagement in the public domain. The information brochure about the Faculty of Humanities is available here.
We have developed partnership with a wide range of universities within the Erasmus+ programme and CEEPUS network scheme. The Faculty of Humanities also participates in the scheme of inter-university agreements of Charles University and inter-governmental agreements of the Czech Republic.
Furthermore, to promote an international and multicultural environment in our classes, both Czech and international students study together.
Prospective international students have three options of studies at FHS:
1. As degree seeking students:
see the Admissions section (Undergraduate, Graduate, Postgraduate).
2. As exchange students from one of our partner universities
(ERASMUS+ programme; Exchange Inter-university and Faculty FHS agreements):
3. As visiting students from a non-partner university
(CEEPUS FREE-MOVERS scheme, International Visegrad Fund scholarship programme and similar schemes; Czech Republic bilateral international agreements):
