Udr/žitelná FHS runs the FHSwap in the locker room area (0.38). You can bring in pieces from your wardrobe, or dishes etc., or take something away at will. The goal of the swap is not only to extend the life of things, but also to build community.

On each floor of the faculty building you will find bins for sorted waste, specifically for paper and plastic. These bins are also located in all kitchenettes.

Beekeeping Association Pučmeloud FHS UK created a community compost in the "jungle" in front of the faculty.

You can dispose of small electrical items and batteries in the collection box just opposite the entrance on the first floor. As part of the Green School initiative, FHS is participating in the take-back of electrical appliances.

Academics, students and librarians are striving to beautify the grounds along the western edge of the building. In the spring of 2024, they planted

lavender, currants, and other plants and shrubs.

The “jungle” in front of the faculty has become a pleasant place to spend time between classes thanks to the efforts of the Beekeeping Association Pučmeloud FHS UK. The members of the student organizations, with the help of other students, have created a community garden and seating area.

The benches in front of the faculty building serve for sitting or lying down. Their sustainable use is taken care of by the faculty staff, who renew them not only because of the wear and tear of time and weather, but also because of poor handling.

The faculty operates light patrols that check the lights in classrooms off at the end of the day. In addition, the replacement of lighting technology from fluorescent to LED started in 2023.
