Exhibition: Medicine from the Times of Charles IV to the Present

The exhibition focuses on the development of medicine and the Medical Faculty from the times of Charles IV to the present. Visitors will have the opportunity to see extracts from period textbooks, examine various medical instruments (previously used for treating a variety of diseases) and photos from the history of the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University. Information on the origin and development of many medical disciplines and architectural curiosities of buildings that belonged or belong to the First Faculty of Medicine will also be presented. The event will be held in the New Town Hall.
