Petr Wohlmuth of FHS awarded Egon Erwin Kisch Prize for his publication "East vs. West? The Crimean War (1853-1856) from the perspective of historical anthropology".
The prize has been awarded since 1992 to Czech and Slovak writers for non-fiction literature. The Egon Erwin Kisch Foundation was founded in 1990 by Gisela Kisch.
Mgr. et Mgr. Petr Wohlmuth, Ph.D., works at the Department of Historical Studies (Oral History and Contemporary History Study Programme). In his works, he focuses mainly on military history with an emphasis on the actor's perspective and historical anthropology.
