Statement by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities on the anniversary of the Russian aggression in Ukraine

It has been exactly one year since Russian troops invaded Ukraine. All this time we are watching horrors that we could not even imagine. At the same time, however, we also admire the bravery and determination with which Ukrainians defend their country and our common values. They deserve a big thank you for that. I am glad that our government and the majority of citizens have been helping Ukraine since the beginning of the war, and I believe that we will not let up in this. I can promise this on behalf of FHS UK, and I would like to assure all fellow students and academics from Ukraine that we care about their fate.
