Is is our pleasure to invite you to a unique interactive exhibition "Hellscapes. On Art, Technology and Loneliness" that takes place at the Faculty of Humanities. The exhibition consists of paintings by Matěj Liška (hung from the galleries), video art by Daniel Felstead & Jenn Leung (produced by DIS collective), Jon Rafman (with music by Oneohtrix Point Never), Nikola Balberčáková & Jakub Pohlodek, and Total Refusal (see the screens in the lower atrium), and, last but not least, an interactive AR application by Josef Šmíd, all curated by Václav Janoščík as part of the GAČR project 22-17984S: Focal Images: Violence and Inhumanity in Contemporary Art and Media Culture, led by the Faculty of Humanities' team of researches.
And what is it all about? Let's give the floor to the authors themselves, for you can download the catalogue with the curatorial text and introductions of the individual works HERE.
You can also download the AR app "Mean World's Syndrome" by scanning the QR codes below: use it to target the images and stickers scattered around the building and see what happens!
