Veronika Čapská giving lecture at University of Cambridge

On Wednesday 23^rd November, Veronika Čapská of FHS will present her lecture “Homosocial correspondence ties in the early modern Habsburg monarchy from anthropological perspectives” at Cambridge University. Congratulations!

Veronika Čapská is an assistant professor at the Department of General Anthropology and an Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed journal “History-Theory-Criticism”.

Her main teaching and research area is historical anthropology of the early modern period, theory and methodology of the historical sciences, history of asceticism and piety, anthropology of gift, history of translation, gender history and memory studies.
