Two lectures on phenomenology by foreign guests in the Karel Novotný's course

We kindly invite you on two special lectures given by foreign guests in prof. Karel Novotný's course Fenomenologie (YMFH015 and YBFB020). The lectures will take place on October 2 and 9, respectively. The lecturers will come to Prague as a part of Erasmus+ program and will also speak at the conference of the project Faces of Nature in Contemporary Phenomenology of the Philosophical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The lectures will be in English. Details are available below.


2nd October, Room 2.12, from 4 to 7 pm:

The actual situation of phenomenology, especially in France, and the recent reception of the philosophy of Maurice Merleau-Ponty by Professor Bruce Bégout, Montaigne University Bordeaux and by Professor Annabele Dufourcq, Radboud University Nijmegen.


9th October, Room 220, from 4 to 5.20 pm:

The phenomenology, and the recent reception of the philosophy of Maurice Merleau-Ponty in the North America by Professor David Johnson, Boston College.
