Call for papers for workshop Thinking the "other" from the Historical Perspective

How can we look at the "other" in different historical periods? Faculty of Humanities Ph.D. candidates are planning a workshop on various representatives of "otherness" which will take place on 2nd and 3rd September 2024. Now you can send your 300-word max abstracts on topics like the opposition of "barbarism" and "civilization" in history, religious minorities, history of slavery, or representation of women or LGBTIQ+ people in history until 16th March 2024. As organizers Alper Cakir a David De Pablo state, topics are not restrained to these.
