A creative team of FHS (Mgr. Jan Ciglbauer, Ph.D., prof. Mgr. Lucie Doležalová, Ph.D., Mgr. Adéla Ebersonová, Ph.D., Mgr. Kateřina Voleková, Ph.D., and Mgr. Michal Dragoun) was awarded Bedřich Hrozný Prize for a set of monographs realized within the grant project "Creative copying": Proceedings of Ulricus Crux de Telcz.
The Prize was presented by Milena Králičková, the rector of Charles University during a ceremony on the occasion of CU's 674 anniversary, on April 6, 2022.
The Bedřich Hrozný Prize is named after the Charles University Rector, orientalist, and linguist who achieved world recognition by deciphering the ancient Hittite language. Charles University awards the Prize for a significant and original creative initiative such as a specialist paper published in a journal or book, a work of art, the staging of an exhibition, realising a patent, etc.
