Matriculation of First Year Students and Cancellation of Classes

The matriculation ceremony of the first year FHS students will take place at the Great Hall of the Karolinum on Tuesday 11 October 2022. This day is declared Dean’s Day, and all the classes are therefore cancelled.

On the same day, Tuesday 11 October, there will be no electricity and water in the Faculty building, a full-day outage, due to the replacement of the substation in the University dormitory premises. The library and cafeteria with buffet will also be closed for technical reasons.

Matriculation is a ceremony during which students entered into the Faculty register (matriculated) vow to fulfil their duties while respecting their moral obligations towards the school, its rules and the decisions of academic officials.
