1 June sees Věra Sokolová taking up the office of FHS dean

On 1 June, 2023, the first term of office of the new FHS dean, doc. Věra Sokolová, M. A., Ph.D., begins. The four-year long term will end on 31 May, 2027.

Věra Sokolová has been elected dean candidate on the meeting of the FHS Academic Senate on 30 March, 2023. After that, rector of Charles University, professor Milena Králíčková, has appointed her.

The dean is the head of the faculty, managing its activities. He or she acts and decides on all matters of the faculty that are not reserved to other authorities of the faculty or university.
