James Krapfl is a cultural historian specializing on the history of central and eastern Europe, the history of European revolutions, and the transformation of Europe since 1989. Among his best-known works is the book Revolution with a Human Face. He is affiliated with McGill University and Charles University’s Faculty of Humanities; he also edits Canadian Slavonic Papers / Revue canadienne des slavistes.
The workshop is suitable for a wide spectrum of participants' specializations, from master's students to senior academics. The working languages of the workshop will be Czech and English. We ask those interested to kindly fill out the registration form below.
