In addition to the assistance provided by the International Office to the new international students during the Orientation Programme , the tutoring programme aims to help students to socialise with the Czech students and to offer an opportunity to further develop a friendship between the international and the Czech (tutor) students.
Cultural Orientation Session & Welcome Party
A part of the Orientation Programme organized by the FHS International Office, the Cultural Orientation Session aims to provide students with the basic information on the Czech Republic, life in Prague and the tips on the cultural life in Prague, while giving them the opportunity to get to know each other better and to learn how to deal with cultural shock. The meeting is followed by a Welcome Party held in a Prague restaurant.
Facebook Group of International Students FHS CU
The international students may join us on facebookin the group International students FHS CU to get in touch with the other students coming for their studies at the FHS and also the Czech FHS students involved as tutors to share their experience and useful tips as well as their plans to socialize with the others.
Charles University International Student Club (IC CUNI)
The international students are welcome to meet together and explore Prague as well as the Czech Republic through the activities offered by the Charles University International Club (IC CUNI), a student club which organises various social, cultural and sports events for both international and Czech students, such as trips, excursions, tandem teaching programme, Czech Film Club, and generally helps international students to handle their stay in Prague.
Trips with the UPCES courses
Students enrolled in the courses of the UPCES programme have an opportunity to join the day trips out of Prague arranged by the UPCES programme.

This annual event attracts more than a hundred of students and academics each year. The combination of great music, dancing and friends makes this event unforgettable. In 2014 the ball "Even Heidegger danced" took place at Art Nouveau Hall Na Marjánce. You can see the pictures from the ball here.
Multi-genre festival organized by FHS, FF and FSV students. The festival is organized twice a year (one time in a winter semester and one time in a summer semester) and takes place in Jinonice university area. In the academic year 2013/14 the festival was held on October 6, 2013 and March 23, 2014.
