The International Longevity Centre GA celebrated its 30th anniversary on Friday, November 27, 2020. The mission of the ILC Global Alliance is to help societies to address longevity and population ageing in positive and productive ways. The ILC Global Alliance currently includes 16 centres over the world.
The Centre of Longevity and Long-term Care (CELLO), an interdisciplinary scientific unit of FHS joined the Global Alliance under the leadership of Iva Holmerová in 2009.

The Institute of Immunology and Microbiology, 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, in collaboration with the General Faculty Hospital is carrying out sample collection and testing students and employees of Charles University for the presence of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 using RT-qPCR technique. Free capacity can be used also by other private payers.
