Charles University has selected Dr Alena Marková's 4EU+Alliance joint project "Eastern Europe from the Post-Socialist Perspective: Changes and Challenges" to support in the form of seed funding. The project is focused on research-based education.

The Coursera educational platform provides access to selected online courses from universities around the world from a variety of disciplines, from natural to humanities to health and nutrition.
There are 5 000 licences for users from Charles University.
Trial expires on 31.07.2020, with courses that have been started available until 30.09.2020.

The journal focuses on the history of historiography, methodology and its transformation, with an emphasis on polemical nature and criticism.
Between 2004–2010 the journal was published by Masaryk Institute, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Institute for Contemporary History, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University in Prague. Faculty of Humanities, Charles University in Prague became the exclusive publisher in 2011. The journal is published twice a year.
