The Election to the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Humanities was launched today, November 24 at 9:00 am.
The election takes place electronically at https://volby.fhs.cuni.cz/.
The election will run until Friday, November 27, 2:00 pm.

The Election Committee published candidate lists on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
This year, a total of 16 people are running for Academic Senate of the Faculty, of which 7 for the chamber of academic staff and 9 for the student chamber.

Your opportunity to nominate candidates for elections to the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Humanities was valid until 16 November 11:00 a.m.
We would like to thank all those who decided to propose their candidate for the election to the Academic Senate of the Faculty.
The final list of all candidates will be published no later than Friday 20 November.
The elections will take place electronically on 24-27 November 2020. Follow also the FB of the Student Chamber of the Academic Senate of the Faculty.

The election for the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Humanities is forthcoming.
Nominations for both academic and student candidates are accepted until Monday, November 16, 11 am.
Basic Instructions:
Candidates may be nominated by any member of the academic community of the Faculty. Any member of academic staff as well as any student can be nominated as a candidate – in both cases, their membership in the academic community of the Faculty is a necessary prerequisite.
Each nominee must accept their nomination. The election committee will request the acceptance of nomination from each nominee.
With regards to epidemy and the consequent pre-emptive measures, it is not possible to submit nominations in a letter form this year. Nominations can be submitted through an electronic form only.
Nomination must include:
Identification of the nominator (Charles University ID number, name and surname - are automatically verified by your login to the electronic form),
Identification of the nominee (Charles University ID number, name and surname - to be filled out in the form),
contact e-mail of the nominator (to be filled out in the form).
ELECTRONIC FORM for nomination is to be found here.
For the purposes of the verification of your identity, the form is accessible only after logging into MS Office 365 University platform. In the first step of the login, write your login in the form "personalnumber@cuni.cz" (ID number or UKČO - you can find it on your UK card under the photo or in the SIS). You will then be redirected to the CAS login page, where you will be able to log in with your usual login details. It is not possible to fill in this form without logging in, which is also the identification of the person.

One electronic form can be used to submit solely one nomination. If you wish to nominate more than one candidate, please fill out one form for every nominee separately.
Filling out the form takes almost no time. It can be filled out also using a mobile phone.
Save the Dates:
Nominations of the candidates for the Faculty Academic Senate are accepted in the period of October 23 – November 16, 11am.
Final list of candidates will be published on Friday, November 20 at the latest.
Elections to the AS FH CU will take place on 24 - 27 November.

In accordance with Article 2 of the Election Rules of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, elections to the AS FH CU are announced on 24-27 November 2020. The AS FH CU determines the electronic method of elections.
The term of office of the newly elected senators from the ranks of academic staff begins on February 1, 2021 and ends on January 31, 2024.
The term of office of the newly elected student senators begins on February 1, 2021 and ends on January 31, 2023.
AS FH CU establishes an election commission composed of J. Chavalka (external chairman of the election commission), J. Wohlmuth Markupová (representative of the teacher's curia of the senate), O. Špaček (deputy for the teacher's curia), R. Holodňák (representative of the student curia of the senate), Brocková (representative of the student curia of the senate), M. Krofta (deputy for the student curia).
The election commission will inform about the course of the elections and the nomination of candidates in the near future.
