In my work, I place particular emphasis on the interconnections between early modern history, print culture, and transcultural exchanges, with a focus on translation practices and the colonial circulation of knowledge. My doctoral research examines the racial constructs and colonial ideologies embedded in early modern English representations of India and its inhabitants, as well as their reception in wider European intellectual and print networks.
