The elections to the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University are approaching. The elections will take place from 3 to 6 November 2025.
You can nominate candidates from academic staff and students from Monday 29 September to Tuesday 21 October until 23:59.
Any member of the academic community of the Faculty may nominate candidates. A member of academic staff (see the definition of 'academic staff' in the Rector's Measure 15/2020 for more information - only in Czech) or a student may be nominated as a candidate for a member of the Senate, in both cases, membership in the academic community of the faculty is a prerequisite.
The nominee must agree to accept the nomination. The consent of the individual nominees to accept the nomination shall be sought by the Election Commission.
Nominations of candidates will be made electronically via a web form.

As we need to verify your identity, the form is only accessible by logging into the university's MS Office 365 platform. In the first step, enter your login as "personalidentificationnumber@cuni.cz" (aka PIN - you can find it on your CU ID card or in SIS). You will then be redirected to the CAS login page where you will be able to log in with your usual login details. You cannot complete this form without logging in, which also identifies you.
Please check that you are logged in to your University account with MS Office before working with the form.

Only one candidate can be nominated per form. If you want to nominate more than one candidate, you have to complete the form for each nomination separately.
The form will only take a moment to complete. You can also fill it in from your mobile phone.
Identification of the nominator (i.e. PIN, first and last name - these are automatically verified by your login to the form via CAS),
Identification of the candidate (PIN, first and last name - to be filled in the form),
Contact email of the nominator (to be filled in the form).
You may nominate candidates for the AS FH CU between 29 September 2025 10:00 and 21 October 2025 by 23:59.
Candidate lists will be published by the Elections Commission no earlier than Thursday 23 October 2025 and no later than Tuesday 28 October 2025.
Elections for the AS FH CU will take place from 3 November 2025 at 10:00 to 6 November 2025 at 14:00.

In accordance with Article 2 of the Code of Electoral Procedure for the Academic Senate of the faculty, the AS FH CU announces elections to the AS FH CU on 3-6 November 2025.
The AS FH CU has decided on an electronic method of elections.
The term of office of the newly elected senators from among academic staff shall begin on 1 February 2026 and end on 31 January 2029.
The term of office of newly elected student senators anshall begin on 1 February 2026 and end on 31 January 2028.

The AS FH CU establishes an election commission for the elections to the AS FH CU consisting of Jana Wohlmuth Markupová (academic staff, chair), Veronika Krčmáriková (student, member), Arlette Laštovičková (student, member), Jiří Tourek (academic staff, member), Josef Fulka (academic staff, alternate), Dominik Kuna (student, alternate).
