The presentation of the proposed candidates for the position of Dean of FH CU will take place at the meeting of the AS FH CU on Thursday 23rd March 2023 at 16.00 in the Jan Sokol Auditorium.
You can now submit questions to the proposed candidates via this web form (the Forms application is part of the Microsoft 365 platform and can only be accessed by logging into your university account via CAS; instructions for logging in can be found here; the collection of questions is in anonymous mode; the form will close at 11.59pm on Monday 20 March 2023) and via the Slido application (will be open from 21 March until the end of the debate itself).
Questions submitted via the Forms app will be communicated to the proposed candidates in advance and answered at the meeting after a short introductory presentation of their extended programme theses.
During the meeting it will be possible to ask questions both in person at the venue and via the Slido app.

The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University, in accordance with Section 27(1)(g) of Act No.111/1998 Coll. on Higher Education and Article 10 of the Code of Procedure for the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University, announces the election of a candidate for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Humanities for the term of office 2023–2027.
Proposals in paper form may be submitted up to and including 28 February 2023 at the Main Registry of the FH CU (Pátkova 2137/5, 182 00 Praha 8 - Libeň).
At least 10 members of the academic community may jointly submit a nomination for the position of Dean of the FH CU to the AS FH CU Board.
The written proposal must include:
- name, surname and contact details of the nominee,
- the consent of the nominee,
- the name, surname and signature of all proposers,
- a brief curriculum vitae of the nominee,
- a brief programme thesis of the proposer.
The public presentation of the candidates and their programmes will take place at the AS FH CU meeting on 23 March 2023.
The election of the candidate for Dean will take place at the regular meeting of the AS FH CU on 30 March 2023.
