Under the patronage of the university association safe space kolektiv, a welcoming event for newly accepted students from the English and Czech programs of Gender Studies was held on September 26 and 27, 2025.

The students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the faculty environment thanks to a short tour of the campus. There was also a space for any questions about the study program and experiences of current students and program graduates. Friday evening ended with an informal dinner at the vegan restaurant Střecha.

On Saturday, for those who were interested, a shorter hike to one of the viewpoints in the protected landscape area of Český Kras was arranged, which also included a stop for lunch and a visit to St. Wenceslas's feast day in the city of Srbsko.
