Electronic voting of the Habilitation Commission and the Commission in the Process of Appointment as a professor at the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University



Article 1: Introductory Provisions

In accordance with paragraph 72 of the Higher Education Act and on Amendments and Supplements to some other acts (the Higher Education Act), Article 3 (5) and article 12 (5) of the Code of Procedure for the Granting of Associate Professorship and Full Professorship of Charles University and Article 3b of the Code of Procedure of the Faculty Research Board, I issue this Directive.


Article 2: Voting of the Habilitation Commission

  1. The Habilitation Commission may vote electronically in a manner that ensures the secrecy of the vote.

  2. The electronic form contains the motion for a resolution and the options for 'yes', 'no' and 'abstention'.

  3. Voting is valid if at least four members of the Habilitation Commission take part in it.

  4. The resolution is adopted if at least three members of the Habilitation Commission have spoken for it.


Article 3: Voting of the Commission in the Process of Appointment as a professor

  1. The Commission in the Process of Appointment as a professor may vote electronically in a manner that ensures the secrecy of the vote.

  2. The electronic form contains the motion for a resolution and the options for 'yes', 'no' and 'abstention'.

  3. Voting is valid if at least four members of the Commission in the Process of Appointment as a professor take part in it.

  4. The resolution is adopted if at least three members of the Commission in the Process of Appointment as a professor have spoken for it.


Article 4: Final Provisions

  1. This Directive shall come into force on the day on which it is signed.

  2. This Directive shall take effect on 15 March 2021.
