Faculty of Humanities and the non-profit organization Slovo 21, z.s. organize together an international ethnomusicological colloquium Music - Memory - Minorities, which will take place during the World Roma festival Khamoro, on 29th and 30th of May, 2019, in the main building of the FHS in Prague - Jinonice (U Kříže 8, Prague 5 - Jinonice, room 5023).
The two-day colloquium of scholars will be supplemented by the International Summer School of the same name, which will be attended by students from the Faculty of Humanities and from abroad. The summer school is led by an ethnomusicologist Doc. Zuzana Jurková Ph.D. Students will listen to lectures every morning, evenings will be devoted to the Khamoro World Roma Festival. The scholarly colloquium is also led by Doc. Zuzana Jurková, Ph.D., assisted by Mgr. Veronika Seidlová, Ph.D.
