The Berg Orchestra returns to FHS with another program and a truly monstrous one at that. "This is not a composition. It's a monster. But so beautiful!" Enno Poppe, composer and conductor of its world premiere, said of The Fabrication of Light, which will be performed in our atrium on November 4.
An exceptional hour-long composition by composer Chaya Czernowin, created during the time of the covid shock, embodies the artist's strong connection to nature and has been performed in many countries in the short time since its creation in 2020. Berg Orchestra will present the Czech premiere of this sound meditation, which leads the listener from darkness into light.
FHS students are admitted for free, though they are not entitled to a seat. However, if any seats remain empty, they are welcome to use them. In addition, the space of our building also allows for a unique view of the orchestra from the gallery. Otherwise, a ticket costs 350 Czech Crowns via the GoOut portal.
