Sociological Coffee at 2:30 p.m. | Lisa Moreau
FHS UK's
Department of Sociology cordially invites you to another
Sociological Coffee at 2:30 p.m. seminar! This time, Fulbright scholar
Lisa Moreau, M.A., will give a lecture titled
"So what? Who cares? Moving from Research to Action".
Lecture Abstract:
Research has the potential to shape policy, improve public services, and contribute to meaningful social change - but how does that actually happen? Please join the Department of Sociology for an informal, interactive research café exploring how evidence finds its way into the real world, why some research gets used while other findings are overlooked, and how researchers can build connections that help turn knowledge into action.
