In accordance with the Provision of the Rector of Charles University No. 6/2019, I issue this provision to the Dean.

Commencement of the academic year 2019/2020:	1. 10. 2019 (Tuesday)
End of the academic year 2019/2020:	30. 9. 2020 (Wednesday)

Tuition in the Winter Term:	1. 10. 2019 – 10. 1. 2020
Last week of tuition in the semester, i.e., 6. – 10. 1. 2020, is intended for written exams, usually in rooms and at times by the schedule.
Exam Period in the Winter Term:	13. 1. – 14. 2. 2020
Winter Holidays:	21. 12. 2019 – 3. 1. 2020

Tuition in the Summer Term:	17. 2. – 22. 5. 2020
Last week of tuition in the semester, i.e., 18. – 22. 5. 2020, is intended for written exams, usually in rooms and at times by the schedule.
Exam period in the Summer Term:	25. 5. – 11. 9. 2020
Summer Holidays:	1. 7. – 31. 8. 2020 (the Exam Period is interrupted)

Period for the enrollment in the second or higher year of the Bachelor’s and Master’s studies in the academic year 2020/2021 after meeting the conditions (only electronically): 25. 5. – 25. 9. 2020

Offer of subjects (registration period) in the winter semester:

Bachelor's Degree Programme in Czech and English:	16. 5. 2020 (Saturday)
Master's Degree Programmes:	1. 6. – 5. 6. 2020
Ph.D. Degree Programmes:	8. 6. – 19. 6. 2020

Alternative Date of Bachelor's programmes entrance exam:	8. 6. – 12. 6. 2020
Alternative Date of master's programmes entrance exams:	8. 6. – 12. 6. 2020
Alternative Date of doctoral programmes entrance exams:	22. 6. – 26. 6. 2020

This Measure shall come into force on the day on which it is signed.
This Measure shall take effect on 16 September 2019.
This Measure cancels the Dean’s Measure No. 6/2018 with effect as from 1 October 2019.
