On October 5 and 6, 2026, an international research colloquium titled Kosmologische Anthropologie: Tod – Geschlecht – Arbeit – Spiel will take place. It is organized by the Faculty of Humanities and its SIF (Středoevropský institut filosofie, Central European Institute of Philosophy), in collaboration with the Eugen Fink Zentrum at Bergische Universität Wuppertal. The colloquium is part of a joint grant project supported by the Czech Science Foundation (GAČR) and Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG); the principal investigators are prof. Hans Rainer Sepp (Department of Philosophy, FHS) and prof. Alexander Schnell (University of Wuppertal). The event will be held at the Academic Conference Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Husova 4a, Prague 1). Researchers from several European countries - Germany, Italy, Austria, France, and Belgium - will present at the colloquium. Contributions will also be made by prof. Karel Novotný (Department of Philosophy, FHS) and graduates of the FHS doctoral program in German and French Philosophy: István Fazakas, Sandro Herr, and Lutz Niemann.
