The Election Commission received no objections to the conduct and outcome of the elections.

On the basis of the above data, the Election Commission states that the elections were held in accordance with the Electoral Code of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University.

  • On Friday, December 6, the electionS to the Academic Senate of the Faculty was finished.

    Preliminary results can be found here.

    The official protocol on the outcome of the elections will soon be published by the Election Commission.

  • Your opportunity to nominate candidates for elections to the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Humanities was valid until 25 November 11:00 a.m.


    We would like to thank all those who decided to propose their candidate for the election to the Academic Senate of the Faculty.


    The final list of all candidates will be published no later than Monday 2 December.


    The elections will take place electronically on 3-6 December 2019. Follow also the FB of the Student Chamber of the Academic Senate of the Faculty.




Possibility to nominate candidates for elections to the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Humanities

The elections to the academic senate of the faculty is fast approaching. We would like to remind you that you can nominate your candidates until Monday, 25 November by 11 a.m. at the latest. You can submit your nominations in writing in the mailroom of the faculty (University site Jinonice, building B, 5. floor, office 5005) or electronically at .


Nominations must include:

  a. 

Identification of the petitioner(s) - name, surname, personal ID No. i.e. UKČO or UČO.


  b. 

Identification of the candidate(s) - name, surname, personal ID No. i.e. UKČO or UČO.


  c. 

Consent of the candidate(s). - If the consent is not attached to the candidacy, the Electoral Commission will seek to obtain it separately.



The final list of candidates will be published no later than Monday, 2 December.

Announcement of the election to the Academic Senate of Faculty of Humanities Charles University

The Academic Senate of Faculty of Humanities Charles University ("academic senate of the faculty") announces elections to the academic senate of the faculty on 3 - 6 December 2019. The academic senate of the faculty establishes an electronic election method.


The term of office of newly elected academic senators shall begin on 1 February 2020 and end on 31 January 2023. The term of office of the newly elected student senators shall begin on 1 February 2020 and end on 31 January 2022. (Resolution No. 423)


Academic senate of the faculty sets up an electoral commission composed of Jiří Tourek (chairman), Milan Hanyš (member for academics), Hedvika Novotná (alternate member for academics), Felix Geisler (member for students), Agáta Hrdličková (member for students), Magdalena Voldřichová (alternate member for students). (Resolution No. 422)


The electoral commission will inform you of the course of the elections and the nomination of candidates.
