The Faculty of Humanities at Charles University is entering into a new cooperation agreement with Portuguese Institute in Prague, aimed at providing long-term support for the teaching of the Portuguese language and culture and continuing Portuguese studies at the Faculty. Under the agreement, Camões, I.P. will provide financial and professional support for a Portuguese language lecturer at the Faculty and collaborate on cultural activities related to the Portuguese language. Thanks to this agreement, students at the Faculty of Humanities will have the opportunity to study Portuguese through a four-semester cycle, which will also prepare them for study stays at Portuguese universities. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Camões Institute by the Portuguese Ambassador to Prague, H.E. Carlos Macedo Oliveira, and on behalf of the Faculty of Humanities by the Dean, doc. Věra Sokolová, M.A., Ph.D.
